Rob Murray - Grad Dip Soc Sci (HRM), MMktMgt, MATA, AIMM

Rob is an experienced manager specialising in Customer Relationship Management and Call/Contact Centre operations. His considerable experience is founded on operations, training and information technology elements. In addition, he has experience in the acquisition processes associated with procurement of large technology solutions in a complex environment. He has over 20years experience in the Call/Contact Centre industry.

Rob established an IVR Bureau service while working for CITEC. This provided a range of voice and fax services for the Queensland Government and private sector businesses. His expertise led to the first 1900 service provider based in Queensland. This experience served him well when working at ENERGEX where he managed a review of the IVR for provision of customer service.

After leaving ENERGEX, Rob spent time as the Chief Operations Officer for a local systems integrator. During this time, he managed a wide range of projects and professional services related to IVR and Speech Recognition. Key projects included the introduction of text to speech capabilities for a large job search agency and establishment of a travellers’ advice service combining speech recognition and text to speech.

His experience has been gained through over 20 years service within the Australian Army’s Corps of Signals covering telecommunications, operations management and training. This was then enhanced with a variety of business appointments within State Government (ten years) and private sector organisations (four years).
